Tomboy on Ranch: A widower has a small ranch in a rural area. A tomboy, from the nearest house a mile or two away, starts to visit him and asks to help out around his ranch, not having other kids around the area and this becomes a regular thing. Then her parents have to go away for a couple of weeks, and she begs them to let her stay, and ends up convincing them that the rancher will look after her.
